End of the Year Thank You 2018

To our beloved supporters and Brothers Making a Difference of NJ Family:

What a year it has been! There are many things to be thankful for this time of year and we at Brothers Making a Difference of NJ (BMAD) are extremely thankful for you, our BMAD family. Your prayers and support have brought us one year further on this amazing journey. Over the years we have accomplished many things, but of course there is no rest for the weary. BMAD has been on the move this year.

In 2018 BMAD celebrated six years of continuous service to the community! That is six years of sweat, tears, and many miles up and down the road to help change just one life. Six years of hardworking and dedicated volunteers supporting the mission. During this amazing sixth year BMAD was able to partner with many new agencies and schools, we even received a grant award from Wells Fargo! We were fortunate to partner with and contribute to several up and coming non-profits as our way to continue to pay it forward. BMAD certainly believes in sharing our blessings with like minded spirits.
We were fortunate to sponsor and participate in several youth workshops this year. Not only are most speaking engagements unpaid – in fact, BMAD sponsors and pays guest speakers from various industries to lead workshops. BMAD presented workshops to youth at: People’s Prep, Chancellor Avenue School (multiple), NJIT, Edward T. Bowser Elementary, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, The Salvation Army, Heywood Avenue School, State Street Elementary, and Hunter’s Point Middle School. Quite the journey indeed! Miles and miles up and down the highways to touch just one life.

There are many more great times of service to come in 2019! As 2018 comes to a close we ask that you continue to support BMAD in its mission to continue to Be the Change you Want to See. We cannot say thank you enough to those who have donated. As you may know, BMAD is 100% volunteer based and we cannot continue to accomplish our goals without generous supporters.
