Founded by Jermaine J. Jones, Brothers Making a Difference (BMAD) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to uplifting youth and adults through mentorship, education, empowerment, and community engagement.
In August, BMAD proudly celebrates 13 years of impact. What began as a personal promise has grown into a movement that continues to change lives and plant seeds that will outlive us all.
BMAD operates with the belief that “if you touch one person’s life, it’s worth everything you’ve done.” Grounded in faith, passion, and purpose, we walk alongside individuals—helping them overcome obstacles, unlock their potential, and step fully into their greatness.
From year-round school visits and leadership workshops to social media awareness sessions, wellness check-ins, and community clean-ups, BMAD shows up where it matters most: in the hearts of people. We partner with schools, families, organizations, and city leaders to create lasting impact and generational change.
Volunteers and sponsors are the true heroes—the reason a grassroots organization with no paid staff has not only survived but thrived for over a decade. Their time, belief, and generosity are the foundation of everything we’ve built.
BMAD was created to be the vehicle Jermaine once needed—a source of light, accountability, and encouragement. Over the past 13 years, that vision has become a legacy—proof that when you lead with heart and serve with intention, you can plant a seed that will outlive you.
