​Meet Jermaine J. Jones, Executive Director

As the holiday season approaches and we reflect on the values of gratitude and giving, I am reaching out on behalf of Brothers Making a Difference (BMAD), a dynamic and impactful all-volunteer-based 501c3 organization celebrating 11 years of transforming lives, one story at a time.

Our Mission: At BMAD, we believe in the power of touching just one person's life, considering it worth everything we've done. Our mission is rooted in deploying volunteers to impact lives positively. By sharing our personal stories, we aim to convey the message that no one is alone in this world. Over the years, we have expanded our mission to serve the homeless population through collaborations and extended our reach to local schools, where we inspire students with discussions on wise choices during their developmental years.

Executive Director Jermaine Jones and some incredible volunteers drive BMAD, championing a vision where kids/adults express their emotions through educational and fun activities. Our organization strives to create a nurturing environment where lifelong friendships are formed and positive memories are made daily.

Programs Making a Difference: Brothers Making a Difference actively contributes to the community through various initiatives, including providing hot meals, words of encouragement, backpacks, and impactful mentoring. Our programs aim to:
  • Enhance the lives of mentors and mentees through comprehensive training.
  • Enrich the people's lives academically, culturally, and professionally through accessible resources.
  • Offer mentoring sessions in various formats, including one-to-one virtually, group, team, peer, or e-mentoring.
  • Conduct workshops and onsite mentoring to empower individuals to make positive life choices.
